Levi’s

Levi’s was founded by Levi Strauss in 1853 and is an American brand known for their blue jeans. The company has a total annual revenue of 4.5 million and is publicly traded. Their jeans are all now made oversees in countries like China and Vietnam with the exception of the 501 style still made in America. In terms of sustainability, Levi’s launched their Buy Better. Wear Longer. campaign that takes action against the overconsumption crisis. On the 2021 Fashion Transparency Index, the company scored between 41%-50%. As a group, we concluded that Levi’s is a fairly transparent brand and has improved in areas such as manufacturing, quality control, and sustainability. View the full presentation below.
